[CIC1002] APD StormPit Type One

The APD StormPit Type One is a NZBC E1 compliant surface water sump, designed as a durable, lightweight alternative to traditional concrete stormwater sumps for residential and commercial drainage applications.

Manufactured in New Zealand from water tank grade, durable recyclable polyethylene, this sump offers an easy 45kg two-person lift, significantly lighter than concrete alternatives, while providing the same level of compliance and performance. The unit is height adjustable on site, with easy identification marks for cutting and drilling to the required height, and includes a built-in anti-flotation ring, eliminating the need for additional concrete during installation.

A 5-tonne rated ductile cast iron grate fits directly into the main body for shallow depth installations, or into the riser section for adjustable height placement. Blind spigots are provided so installers can predetermine which pipe connections are needed before installation, with flexible couplers used to connect the pipework once the spigots are drilled or cut open.
