[CIC1004] APD StormPit Type Two

The APD StormPit Type Two is a NZBC E1 compliant surface water sump, designed as a durable, lightweight alternative to traditional concrete stormwater sumps for larger-scale residential and commercial drainage applications.

Manufactured in New Zealand from water tank grade, durable recyclable polyethylene, this sump offers an easy 45kg two-person lift for both the sump and riser combined, significantly lighter than concrete alternatives, while providing the same level of compliance and performance. The unit is adjustable in height from 1270mm to 1520mm (measured from the base of the unit to finished ground level), giving 250mm of height adjustment, with easy identification marks for cutting and drilling. A built-in anti-flotation ring eliminates the need for additional concrete during installation, and moulded-in lifting eyes are available if required.

This sump features 1 x 250mm OD spigot and 2 x 160mm OD (150mm UPVC) spigots, along with 2 flat panels for multiple inlet or outlet locations. A 150mm UPVC syphon with access cap can be easily installed, using a hole saw and 150mm rubber seals for simple cutting and sealing.

Please note: grates are sold separately. Compatible grate options include 600mm round, rectangular concave, or rectangular flat (all Class D rated), allowing you to choose the best fit for your site.
