[LDP1011] Hansen Straight Coupling (Male)

The Hansen Straight Coupling (Male) is used for connecting Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) pipe and Enduroflex to female BSP threads, and can also be used to connect other flexible pipe and hose.

This simple, one-piece fitting has no loose components to lose, rust, or corrode. Installation is fast and easy: simply push the pipe onto the fitting and wind on the nut, no O-rings, crimping, or solvent required. The nut and barb design provides a superior double-strength grip, ensuring the fitting won't leak or blow off the pipe when fitted correctly.

Constructed from UV-stabilised, high quality glass fibre reinforced nylon, this fitting offers excellent resistance to weather, termites, fungi, and bacteria. It's approved for use with potable (drinking) water and offers excellent hydraulic flow characteristics, with a maximum working pressure of 1600kPa (235 PSI) at 20°C.

Designed for New Zealand LDPE pipe, EnduroFlex, Australian Rural (Class B), and Irish Imperial pipe, and trusted by Kiwi farmers for over 60 years. Resistant to sea water and suitable for marine applications. Note: Hansen does not recommend use of this fitting under driveways, paths, or foundations.
