PVC Pressure Reducing Socket

The PVC Pressure Reducing Socket is a solvent-weld fitting designed to connect two different sizes of PVC pressure pipe, allowing the pipeline to step down (or up) in diameter within a pressure pipe run.

Made from PVC-U, this reducing socket forms a permanent, leak-free joint at each end using standard PVC solvent cement, making it a straightforward solution for transitioning between different pipe diameters. It's suitable for the conveyance of potable water, sewer mains, agricultural irrigation, and industrial effluent applications, with a maximum operating temperature of 60°C.

Manufactured to comply with Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1477, and Watermark certified, this fitting is designed for dependable, long-term performance in pressure pipe applications, with a maximum allowable working pressure of 1800kPa (PN18).

Important: PVC pressure fittings are not compatible with drainage, stormwater, or drain, waste and vent (DWV) pipe systems.
