The PB Push-Fit Air Chamber Cap is a fitting designed to help absorb water hammer, the banging or knocking noise caused by sudden pressure changes when a tap or valve is quickly shut off within a PB plumbing system.

Fitted to the end of a short vertical pipe stub near a tap, valve, or appliance connection, the sealed air chamber compresses as water surges into it, cushioning the shock and reducing noise and strain on the surrounding pipework.

Its push-fit design allows for fast and easy installation without the need for crimping tools, helping reduce labour time while delivering a strong, leak-resistant connection.
