[TSF1001] Hansen Tank Fitting Black (Female)

The Hansen Tank Fitting Black (Female) is used for connecting valves and pipes to tanks and troughs, providing a threaded connection point through the wall of a tank, trough, or vessel.

Designed for use in tanks, troughs, and a wide variety of marine applications, this fitting comes complete with an LDPE washer and a rubber washer. On the inside of the tank wall, the LDPE washer slides onto the fitting body and the back nut is wound on and tightened so both washers make full contact with the tank wall, forming a watertight seal.

Constructed from UV-stabilised, high quality glass fibre reinforced nylon, this fitting offers excellent resistance to weather, termites, fungi, and bacteria. It's approved for use with potable (drinking) water and features precision heavy duty tapered threads, strong enough to minimise potential cross-threading.

This fitting has a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar (1600 kPa) at 20°C for the 15mm-50mm size range. Please note: this fitting is only suitable for domestic water and is not suitable for chlorinated pool or spa pool water, use in this application voids the Hansen warranty. To assemble, thread hand tight plus one to two turns, no more, overtightening is not recommended.
